PRODUCTION AND APPLICATION

EDC is a colourless liquid with specific odour. It is slightly soluble in water but mixes well with organic solvents. Produced through direct chlorination of ethylene with chlorine. Used as a feedstock for VCM production as well as for the production of pharmaceutical products.

PACKING AND TRANSPORT
